History

The club was founded in 1925 by a group of people from the gundog community of Lancashire, Cumberland, Westmorland, West Yorkshire, Merseyside and Greater Manchester, to improve working gun dogs and to encourage their true purpose of finding and retrieving game in the field.

The Club continues its long standing commitment to enhance gundogs through responsible breeding practices, providing opportunities for dogs and handlers to showcase their skills and receive recognition and to ensure high standards of welfare.
